Club Overview
The Portfolio Management Club is a group of driven undergraduate students at Baruch College that manages a simulated
portfolio fund consisting of companies with a market capitalization between $400 million and $1 billion.
Mission
Provide a learning environment to club members where they can obtain valuable knowledge in portfolio management
and equity valuation.
Create an environment that fosters friendships and positive experiences.
Encourage members to become active by participating in our weekly meetings.
By the time club members begin their search for internship they will have a substantial amount of technical knowledge
that will increase their chances of obtaining a top internship position.
Luis Romero, President
Luis Romero will receive his BBA in Finance and Investments in May 2008, with a minor in Philosophy. In 2006, he
participated in Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO) 2006 Investment Banking program. He interned at Banc of
America Securities in their Sales & Trading, and Investment Banking division. Prior to SEO he interned at Citigroup in
Equity Research covering retail. He is a member of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA), and
SEMI alum. Born in the Dominican Republic, Luis has a passion for baseball and enjoys picking stocks.
Gil Bouhana, Vice President
Gil Bouhana will receive his BBA in Finance and Investments in December 2007. He has interned with Merrill Lynch in
their Wealth Management division and now plans to secure a position in Sales & Trading. Gil spent the spring and
summer of 2006 living in Thailand, training as a Thai-boxer. Gil will be part of SEO 2007 Sales & Trading class. He has
a keen interest for traveling. He was born in NY and raised in the Dominican Republic.
Ari Jahja, Analyst
Ari Jahja is an international student from Jakarta, Indonesia. He will receive his BBA in Finance and Investments in May
2008. Ari is currently an intern at Leeb Capital Management, and a columnist for The Complete Investor. The
investment newsletter has a subscriber base of 60,000 people. Ari will be part of SEO 2007 Asset Management class. He
is also active on campus at USG and The Ticker. In addition to picking stocks Ari enjoys writing songs with his Ibanez
Talman guitar for leisure.
Franklin Cho, Secretary
Franklin Cho will receive his BBA in Finance and Investments in May 2009. He is enrolled in the CUNY Honors
program at Baruch College. His profound interest towards mathematics has led Franklin to explore the intricate world of
financial derivatives and tutor SAT mathematics. Franklin enjoys music, and has a passion for drums and percussion.
Rongbiao Fu, Treasurer
Rongbiao Fu will receive his BBA in Finance and Investments in May 2008. Rongbiao, during the fall 2006 semester,
interned at UBS Equity Research division. He is currently an intern at Ardour Capital Investment Firm in their Research,
and product development group. Born in the People’s Republic of China, he enjoys outdoor activities, and has a passion
for basketball.
